Urban marketplace in Grodzisk opens
The urban Marketplace on Montwill in Grodzisk is officially open! The project was financed by the European Union, carried out under the project for the construction of urban economic activity zone Montwill Street in Grodzisk.
The project included the re-construction of the market place, construction of parking, pavilion, retail and service connections, roofing, street lighting and electrical and telecommunications in the street. There was also re-construction of storm water drainage in the marketplace as well as the paving of multi-colored dice places for trade.
Total project value is approximately 13 million, including funding from the Regional Operational Programme of Mazovia in the amount of 10 million dollars. The investment aims to improve working conditions in the marketplace and the comfort of the buyers. Trading in the market town in Grodzisk is held every Wednesday and Saturday. The Wednesday market is open from 4am to 1pm, and on Saturdays from 5am to 1pm.
